CGA/DISS 40 Series Standard Cylinder Connectors (Nipple, Nut and Gasket)
Ultra-High Integrity Services Connections, DISS, are used for connecting items of gas handling equipment (such as pressure regulators or pigtails) directly to the cylinder valve outlet of a semiconductor/high-purity gas cylinder. The 40 Series corresponds to the standard connectors including nipple, nut and gasket.

The DISS connector is gas specific by design, so each number fits only its own valve outlet, and the range covers DISS numbers 632 to 642 and 712 to 728. End connections are 1/4 inch tube weld, face seal male or NPT male, with 3/8 and 1/2 inch tube weld on request; the nipple is 316L stainless steel or VAR, the gasket nickel or PCTFE, and the wetted surface is electropolished to Ra 0.2 micron, Ra 0.4 on the NPT version. Every connector is made to CGA V-1, inspected on its critical surfaces, clean room packed and permanently marked.
