Pick by line size first, 3/4 and 1 inch on the 10 series, 1/4 to 1/2 inch on the 12 series, all rated to 60 bar in the threaded version. Ammonia has its own unit, the PHF CS2 FN12, rated to 15 bar.

Common questions

Why choose stainless steel over brass?
For two reasons. The gas may attack brass, or the line may be a high purity one where nothing should be added to the gas by the filter body itself. AISI 316L is the standard stainless grade for gas service because of its corrosion resistance and the clean surface it takes.
What is AISI 316L, and what does the L mean?
316L is an austenitic stainless steel with molybdenum added, which is what gives it its corrosion resistance. The L means low carbon, which reduces carbide forming at the grain boundaries when the metal is welded and so keeps the corrosion resistance of the welded joints. It is the standard grade across high purity gas equipment, and it appears on regulators and valves here as well as on filters.
Do stainless filters work at the same pressure as brass?
In the threaded versions, yes. Both are rated to 60 bar inlet, so the choice between them is about the gas and the environment rather than about pressure. The one exception in this range is the ammonia filter, which is a 15 bar unit. Read the rating on the page rather than assuming it from the material.
