Low pressure regulators for the last stage of a gas system: in-line units, point of use outlets and laboratory bench and wall regulators that take a reduced supply pressure and hold a stable low outlet pressure at the instrument or bench. These are not domestic gas or LPG appliance regulators. They are laboratory and process units for specialty gases, sized by flow, outlet pressure range and connection.

Common questions
- What is a point of use regulator?
- A point of use regulator is fitted where the gas is actually used, at a bench, an instrument or an outlet, rather than at the cylinder. It takes an already reduced supply and trims it to the pressure that one position needs, so several positions on one line can run at different pressures. It also puts the setting within reach of the person using it.
- Can one of these be fitted straight onto a cylinder?
- No. These units are sized for an inlet that has already been reduced by a cylinder regulator or a line regulator upstream. Inlet ratings across this range run from 10 bar to 60 bar, well below full cylinder pressure. Check the inlet rating on the product page against the pressure the unit will actually see, not against the pressure you intend to set.
- What outlet pressures does this range cover?
- From a few millibar up to 50 bar, depending on the unit. Some are supplied as fixed versions at a set outlet pressure and others adjust across a range, for example 5 to 50 millibar, or 0.2 to 3 bar. The setting range on each product page is the range that unit holds, so read it as a range rather than as a maximum.
