A single tap bench mount using push and turn operation. The handle has to be pushed before it will turn, so the tap cannot be opened by a knock or a sleeve catching it in passing. That matters most in teaching laboratories and shared benches, where the same station is used by people of varying experience and an outlet left open is not always noticed.
