D385S valve with pneumatic actuator is designed for keeping the highest level of purity of the gas. Its tied diaphragm technology allows to avoid any particle generation. The D385S is used for UHP, corrosive, reactive and toxic gases, common in the electronic and semicondutor industry.

The pneumatically actuated version of the 4 mm tied diaphragm cylinder valve, for ultra high purity gas where the valve is operated remotely rather than by hand. Rated 200 bar with Cv 0.35, it shares the family's soft and metal seat, minimal gas wetted volume and thread free wetted path, with the actuator giving positive closure through the mechanically linked spindles. Bodies in AISI 316L, Hastelloy C22, Nickel 200 or Monel, a threaded weep hole for leak testing, optional pressure relief device, marked to TPED. For nitrous oxide, silane and diborane Rotarex specifies the D388 instead.
